Carlos Galvez Jr. brings nearly 30 years of experience across corporate security, law enforcement, and emergency medical services. He began as a uniformed security officer and served as a reserve police officer while building his corporate career. Over his career he has held security roles at Cisco, Amazon, and Juniper Networks, including leading the corporate security program at Amazon and leading security, risk management, and executive protection programs at Juniper. Most recently he served as Vice President of Global Security and Crisis Management at Oportun. His work spans threat intelligence, executive protection programs, event security, supply chain and manufacturing security, insider threat, workplace violence prevention, and crisis response.
